Events in the Lowcountry: Week Of 3/24/2026

Some weeks move quickly, and this one brings us right into one of the biggest, most vibrant, and possibly the busiest weekends here in the Lowcountry. Starting Friday, Charleston and the surrounding communities will be buzzing as thousands come into town for the Cooper River Bridge Run, the Credit One Charleston Open, and the always-loved Flowertown Festival.

It’s a weekend that beautifully reflects what makes this area so special — connection, tradition, and the simple joy of being part of a community that knows how to show up and celebrate where we live. I’ll be out at the Flowertown Festival this weekend, and I’d truly love to meet you — if you’re there, be sure to stop by and say hello.

And as a Charleston native, I’ll admit something… I’ve never actually done the Cooper River Bridge Run (I know!). It’s one of those local traditions, so I think it’s officially time to make it happen next year.
